New Year Revolutions

New Year Revolutions

Under the cover of snow, familiar bike routes remain frozen and lie in wait for Spring. Further reassurance that tearing apart my motorbike for maintenance this winter is the proper thing. Forced into neutral, future trips take form based on past runs and wish lists. 2023 was the year I met my BMW R75/6 and fell in love with an Airhead. Able to venture farther from home than before, we were inseparable, spending days on the road and nights propped up in front of a campfire. While the end of motorbike season doesn’t beget new travel material, it does keep me dreaming and writing of what’s to come. 2024 affords the opportunity to look over my shoulder at what made me anticipate every ride away from home. While my last trip of the season was published first (due to this blog’s creation date) here is a slide-show and tell of trips worthy of a proper re-do.
